Centennial Cross Country has competed in two meets this season. The boys' and girls' teams are looking strong. In the Memphis Twilight 5k September 5th, Junior Hayden Fobare (61st out of 357 athletes) led the varsity squad with a finish of 21.02. Senior Jonathan Helton led the varsity boys with a 7th place (out of 386 athletes) finish and a time of 16:23. Freshman Davis Bove followed Helton closely and finished 17th with a time of 16:46.
In the August 29th meet, Junior Hayden Fobare finished strong wtih 21.09 and freshman Claudia Dassow finished with a 21.31. Rounding out the top give girls' varsity include: Brady Bove (Sr.), Maddie Morstad (So.), and Amelia Thiesing (Sr.). Senior Jonathan Helton finished strong with a time of 16.04 (the season PR so far). Freshman Davis Bove finished in 16.24. Rounding out the top five varsity runners include: Daniel Macleod (Sr.), Ethan woods (Jr.), and Nick Hadley (So.).
